We don’t need to give gifts

I made this website during the biggest holiday season, New Year’s day. The reasons behind are quite simple: a lot of the times we don’t actually need gifts or to be given ones. There are already too much stuff in our home that usually end up in a trash can before being used fully or at all. But a lot of the time we still hold the tradition of gift giving tightly that it could harm our relationship if we break it.

This is when you and the receiver come to an agreement that neither of you will give a gift to one another. The main reasons could be that both of you don’t want to get any presents or there is nothing you both need in particular. Another reason is to lower trash and the excessive use of resources. ‘NO GIFT’ agreement seems to gain more momentum in the recent years regarding environmental, global warming and climate change issues.
