This is where my love for low-waste lifestyle was nurtured. I had a one-year internship at Scoop as a web editor and salesperson back when Scoop still located in Seattle. I got to meet a lot of people who shared the same values, both co-workers and customers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>At its core, Scoop Marketplace helps people live low-waste life a bit easier by selling package-free bulk dry food, home essentials, and self-care products. If not package-free, products&#8217; packaging will either be compostable reusable. Scoop started small with a team of a few people. I was one of the founding members who&#8217;s most responsible for editing, updating, and improving the website.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Back then, the business had limited budget. We couldn&#8217;t invest in streamlined software, so we worked with what we had. Wix is the website builder we used. It&#8217;s simple to get started but not so reliable and very hard to automate or scale&#8230;at least for the template that we used.
